Brown spider with black bands on legs. The brown widow spider Latrodectus geometricus can vary in color from white dark brown to almost black however most are light or medium brown. Tan to dark brown abdomen and legs are uniformly colored with no stripes bands or mottling. It also has black and white marks on the top of the abdomen and often has dark bands on its legs.

They range in size from 02 to 08 inches. The Huntsman spider is hairy. False widows have dark legs with lighter brown markings.
The legs are long and thin and lack conspicuous spines. The Orange and Black Tarantula is hairy possessing black or brown bodies with white markings and prominent orange stripes on their legs and back. Their abdomen has a pale brown stripe with darker bands on either side and these bands have several paler chevron markings through them.
