Birth control swelling legs. Birth control pills oral contraceptives can increase the risk slightly for developing DVT. Different people react differently to the various doses and types of birth control pills. Not sure what the plan is now as I dont want to be on birth control forever but sure dont want to repeat what Id been through.
I can say though that I realized that I have a LOT of swelling in my legs in about 201516. It was very bad in my feet and ankles and legs and knees but also in my hands and arms. If you are a female and on birth control pills then this could be due to the side effect of pills as they can also cause deep vein thrombosis. This type of swelling is usually not serious but you should still get it evaluated to be sure. My feet became so swollen it was painful to walk or even clean house.
So needless to say me and. This normally happens when some vein or artery is blocked due to the wrongly intake of the pill. Signs and symptoms of DVT include leg or calf pain redness swelling or leg cramps.

Some medications especially birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy can cause your legs or feet to swell. Swelling of legs and things is also an adverse side effect of birth control pills. It can also be due to pinched nerve or due to diabetic neuropathy.
