The new generation will appear in July and August. Beetles are amazing creatures that are easily recognized by their shell-like exteriors. The body shape resembles a spider with rounded abdomen narrow thorax and rounded head.

We wonder perhaps if this is a similar but less well documented member of the same genus. The four front legs are yellow with black tips whilst the rear legs are mostly black. The positions of the body and the front middle and hind legs of a dung beetle are marked with red yellow turquoise-blue and green dots respectively.
