Barbecued Leg Of Lamb Greek Style
Take the leg of lamb out of the refrigerator and leave in room temperature for about 1 hour.

Transfer the lamb to a cutting board cover loosely with foil and let rest for 15 minutes. Place lamb into ceramic dishes and pour the marinade evenly over each piece rub the marinade all over the lamb. Barbecue the lamb for 15-20 minutes a side then leave to rest by the barbecue for 10 minutes.
Thinly slice the lamb on the diagonal. This Greek-style marinade can be applied to any meat but works particularly well on lamb. You can ask the butcher to butterfly a leg of lamb or even a half leg.
